SUMMARY:Beehive Collective Climate Justice\, Art & Storytelling Event & Book Launch
DESCRIPTION:Join the Beehive Collective on July 15th at 3pm for an afternoon of storytelling and arts-based cultural exchange! The workshop focuses on climate and environmental issues while emphasizing inspiring stories of community empowerment and solutions. This event is family friendly and will be lots of fun for both kids and adults! The event will be held at the Children’s Garden (321 Main St\, Ottawa)\n\nThe Collective’s giant MesoAmerica Resiste graphic took over 9 years to complete and was a collaboration between 23 members of the collective and communities across central America. The event will also be a book launch for their recently released educational book project: The True Cost of Coal Kids Book. It is a rhyming narrative and activity book to complement their large mural artwork “True Cost of Coal”.
