DESCRIPTION:Families of Sisters in Spirit (FSIS) is hosting a family-friendly feast and giveaway at Strathcona Park to commemorate Red Dress Day on Sunday\, May 5\, 2024 from 11 am to 2 pm. \nThis grassroots event supports local families and community members impacted by the ongoing crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls\, and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S+). \nStrathcona Park is on the edge of Sandy Hill along the Rideau River. It’s accessible by transit and has 2 hours free visitor parking. The address is 95 Range Rd.\, Ottawa\, ON K1N 8J3 \nIf you want to bring your favorite dish or have something you are not using anymore\, please donate it to someone else who can use it.
