SUMMARY:Cap Pollution: Making polluters do their fair share through policy and people
DESCRIPTION:The oil and gas emissions cap is a key climate policy for Canada. Emissions released from the production of oil and gas are the largest source of pollution in Canada. SUMMARY:No Pride in Genocide On-line Teach-in
DESCRIPTION:This teach-in will make connections between the current genocidal attacks on the Palestinian people\, on Indigenous people on Turtle Island\, on people in Sudan\, and on attacks on queer and trans people in Canada and beyond. Mainstream white homonationalist LGBT and Pride organizations in Canada have refused to support the call for an end to the Israeli genocide of Palestinians and instead support the genocidal Canadian state as well as corporations and banks that are supporting the ongoing destruction of Palestine. This teach-in is the lead in to our anti-genocidal\, anti-racist and anti-fascist Abolitionist Pride of resistance and love while opposing those who believe Pride can be based on genocide.
