SUMMARY:Film Screening: Gaza Fights for Freedom
DESCRIPTION:Join us Monday\, November 4th for a fundraiser film screening to watch “Gaza Fights For Freedom” (2019). Filmed during the height of the Great March of Return (2018-2019) the documentary tells the story of Palestinians who peacefully marched to the edges of their prison and stood in defiance of the unlawful “authority” that sequestered them there. How did the occupying forces respond? Chemical warfare\, snipers firing live rounds\, and the murder of 195 men\, women\, and children\, with 29’000 injured. This film is a reminder that the genocide we are witnessing today where the Zionist regime has murdered upwards of 186’000 Palestinians\, is not new. This film is a testament to the steadfastness of Palestinian’s and their heroic resistance and resilience in the face of the occupier. \nThe screening will be followed by discussion highlighting themes in the film. Tickets linked in bio.
