Fight Ford Province-Wide Protest for Harm Reduction
We need you🫵🏻 yes, YOU! to stop Doug Ford with us!!!!! SAVE THE DATE & BRING SOME FRIENDS!
Under Ford government, Ontario keeps cutting the supports harm reduction orgs and drug users rely on. His government banned consumption sites, forced closures across the province, then pulled funding from what remained, including two sites right here in Ottawa, even as overdose calls spiked after earlier closures.
Ottawa’s harm reduction community is left picking up the pieces: more unsupervised drug use, more people unhoused, less infrastructure, and a government that treats compassionate care like a problem to police away.
We’ll be doing naloxone/narcan training and talking about harm reduction and what transformative justice looks like for all. 🫂 pls join us
