Hungry for Food Justice?
Be a part of reviving Food Not Bombs in Ottawa!
Are you the kind of person who wants to make sure no one gets left behind? Do you want to build food security in your community? Is it clearer now more than ever that the world needs cooperation and mutual aid, not greed and wanton destruction? If so, come be part of the revival of the Ottawa chapter of Food Not Bombs!
Wondering what that is? Food Not Bombs is the name shared by independent collectives around the world that gather donated produce and ingredients, cook delicious plant-based meals, and distribute them for free in public spaces. Ottawa had one such collective, but it ceased operation in 2021. Now you have a chance to be part of a new iteration!
We’d love to have you join the inaugural meeting taking place online on April 26, 2026, at 15:00. This meeting will discuss first steps towards building a fully operational chapter. All are welcome, whatever your experience or capacity! If you would benefit from specific accessibility measures, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
