Trans Liberation and Marxism Study Group pt. 1: Fighting Transphobia
In our introductory session to this two part study group on trans liberation and Marxism, we will read sections from socialist organization RS21’s pamphlet Fighting Transphobia (pp. 5-16 and 27-30), which discuss the socially constructed nature of gender and tactics for, as the title suggests, fighting transphobia. We have also written a brief introduction discussing the British context the pamphlet was written in and its applicability to us in Canada. You should probably read that first.
