Trans Liberation and Marxism Study Group pt. 2: Social Reproduction Theory
In this second (optional) session to this two part study group on trans liberation and Marxism, we will try to situate trans life within Marxist social reproduction theory (SRT). This one’s for the real (or aspiring) theory-heads out there. We will be reading “What is social reproduction theory?” by Tithi Bhattacharya, “Social reproduction and the roots of transphobia” by Zack Muddle, and “Seizing the Means of (Gender) Production” by Braedyn Ezra Simon.
