Film screening: The Disappearance of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya
Join us for a powerful documentary screening of “The Disappearance of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya”, about the imprisonment of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, a prominent doctor and chief of Kamal Adwan hospital in Gaza who has been detained in Israeli prison for over 10 months.
We will also be holding a discussion with Carleton University Professor Iyas Abu-Hajiar, who will be sharing his lived experiences in Gaza and his work in supporting hospitals.
