From Turtle Island to Palestine: Challenging Canada’s Perpetuation of Settler-Colonial Violence 🇵🇸 🧡
This event by F4P Ottawa, IJV Carleton, and INSAF uOttawa invites members of the community to learn about Canada’s complicity in the violent dispossession, ethnic cleansing, and genocide of the people of Palestine and to discuss how we can learn from Indigenous experiences and resistance to challenge entrenched institutional settler-colonial practices.
Canadian institutions, including the Government of Canada, Canadian universities, and Canada’s corporate media, continue to deny Israel’s destruction of Gaza, unconscionable forced starvation, and innumerable other war crimes against Palestinians.
