Grieving Medically Assisted Deaths – Queer Death Salon
Medically assisted death is becoming more common globally, and yet there are few places to share about this experience. Join us as we discuss our experience and share about our loved ones who chose medically assisted death at the end of their lives.
Some questions to consider:
How does it feel to know in advance when your loved one will die?
How did you support or interact with the decision making around this choice?
What opportunities has this choice opened up?
How did this compare to other deaths you’ve experienced?
Participants are encouraged to bring their own questions, stories, and complexities to share.
