Harmony Circle for Palestine with Algonquin Spiritual Advisor Albert Dumont

For this Harmony Circle, Algonquin Spiritual Advisor Albert Dumont will be joined by Moriel Rothman-Zecher, Jerusalem-born novelist and poet. Moriel is the author of “Sadness Is A White Bird”, a heart-breakingly beautiful book that tells the story of a young man who is preparing to serve in the Israeli army while also trying to reconcile his close relationship to two Palestinian siblings with his deeply ingrained loyalties to family and country. This story follows somewhat closely to Moriel’s own life experiences.

After the formal conversation, we will open up the meeting for a Sharing Circle where all participants are invited to ask questions or share what is on their heart in the chat.

We will end the Harmony Circle with concrete social justice actions we can take to help. This is an invitation to do something in a time of great suffering, devastation and emotional turmoil.
