📍Located in the heart of downtown Ottawa, the Bytown Museum is located on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe Nation. As a museum in the heart of Ottawa, we recognize our responsibility to tell fuller stories of the land, its peoples, and its histories — past, present, and future.
