International Migrants Alliance: Open Orientation
What is the International Migrants Alliance? We are a global Alliance of grassroots migrant organizations, unions, and advocates fighting for the rights and dignity of migrants, refugees, and displaced peoples. We work to build international solidarity among communities resisting exploitation, imperialism, and systemic oppression from Canada to the Global South.
Join us at the SEIU Local 2 office (303 Waverley St.) on Saturday, November 22 for our open orientation!
This orientation is open to anyone interested in learning more about IMA – our principles, our global work, and how to get involved with local and international movements. It’s a great opportunity for potential migrants and refugee member organizations and allied associate member organizations, or anyone curious about migrant struggles to connect and learn.
