Everyone is welcome to attend our jewelry-making festival supporting Justice for Indigenous Women (J4IW) and 2Spirit Manitoba. This is an opportunity to participate in meaningful reconciliation!

Registration Required: Please complete this short google form to register.

Cost: Suggested donation $25 (link to donate on above order form). This includes all materials needed to create your own jewelry and refreshments. Additional kits are available to purchase for $10 to take home.

Other details:

No experience needed!  All materials will be provided (but if you have a needle-nose pliers, please bring them along) and we will teach you how to make this jewelry that is not only beautiful but also educational. Our Governor General, Mary Simon, has proudly worn J4IW jewelry!

Elder Barbara Dumont Hill and others will provide education and story-telling about Indigenous issues including Missing and Murdered Indigenous Woman, Girls, and Two-Spirit Peoples (MMIWG2S).

Beverages and snacks will be generously provided by the Ojigkwanong Indigenous Student Centre at Carleton University, who is also providing their special space for us to use and enjoy.
