Attending a protest, making a social media post or fighting racism in the workplace – what are your protections in the workplace? Come and learn about your legal rights in the workplace in our online webinar Tuesday November 7th,
7-8:30pm with lawyer Simcha Walfish.
We’ll be discussing:
– Workers’ rights and risks at protests.
– The difference in rights for unionized, non-unionized, and migrant workers
– Guidance for workers experiencing consequences for making pro-Palestinian social media posts.
– Advice for workers facing discrimination regarding their pro-Palestinian stances or Palestinian or Muslim identities.
– Where workers can find support in Ottawa.
