The Solidarity Alliance of People Who Use Drugs (SAPWUD) is hosting their first annual candlelight vigil to honour the many lives lost to so-called Canada's genocidal war on people who use drugs. Dundonald Park (516 Somerset St W, Ottawa) from 8 pm to 10 pm on August 31st, 2023.

March leaves Ottawa City Hall (Lisgar Street side) at 12:00pm (Noon). Heads West on Lisgar Street to Elgin Street, then South on Elgin Street to Gladstone Avenue, then West on Gladstone Avenue ending at McNabb Park (corner of Bronson and Gladstone). Picnic at McNabb commences when March participants arrive (approx. 12:45pm).
