DARC presents our next lecture in our Night School series: The Importance of Indigenous Narrative Sovereignty – Rustic Oracle, A Case Study with Sonia Bonspille Boileau.

Sonia Bonspille Boileau is a bilingual Kanien’kehá:ka-Quebecois filmmaker who has been working for over fifteen years at bringing Indigenous content to the screen for audiences of all cultural backgrounds. She will lead an informative conversation about the importance of Indigenous representation in the arts and media, narrative sovereignty and the power of storytelling to educate, share and heal.

Join us for this FREE lecture in the DARC Microcinema on April 18th at 6 PM – following the FREE screening of Sonia’s film, Rustic Oracle, on April 17th. Registration is not required.
