Online Intro Talk: Stop Canada Burning Down

In this talk, we will tell the truth about the state of the climate – including the hard truths that people in power don’t want you to know.
And most importantly, we will talk about the social science of radical change and how YOU can make it happen! There is a long history of movements that have forced those in power to make change – through bottom-up people power.
You will get the chance to connect with people who are involved in the movement. People who have been arrested, have done hunger strikes, and have risked a lot to engage in nonviolent civil disobedience – following in the footsteps of movements of the past, like the civil rights movement and movements for the right to vote.
Come learn about what YOU can do – and what we all MUST do – to avoid the worst effects of climate breakdown and create a livable future.
