RISE II – A Community Singing Event
RISE returns! Building on last year’s concert of protest songs, this year’s program continues the call to action by challenging the expectations that hold us back while embracing the change needed to move forward. Urgent, hopeful, and powerful, RISE blurs the line between stage and seats as we raise our voices together.
The concert will be approx. 75 mins with an intermission.
The venue is First Unitarian, which is a wheelchair accessible space and has gender neutral single stall washrooms in addition to multiple stall gendered washrooms. Seating is cushioned wooden pews. The space is secular in nature.
Free parking is available on site and there are nearby bus stops. Please note that, while there is a lot of construction in the neighbourhood, Cleary Ave is open. Please click here for details, and allow yourself extra time arriving.
