Teach-in on South African Apartheid & the Fight for Divestment at Carleton

Combining political education and interactive work, we will reflect on the parallels between the South African and Palestinian struggle, ground ourselves in the ongoing fight for divestment, and strategize ways to organize collectively on campus today.
Featuring Kevin Skerrett, who was part of the student group that successfully pushed the university to divest from companies supporting South Africa’s apartheid regime.
