The Genocide in Palestine: A socialist anti-imperialist perspective with Hassan Husseini
Hassan Husseini is a member of the National Steering Committee of Labour for Palestine – Canada. He is a national negotiator for the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) where he represents PSAC members during contract negotiations under federal, provincial and territorial jurisdictions. Husseini has occupied several elected and staff positions within a number of unions including CUPE Local 4600, Canadian Labour Congress, Ottawa CUPE District Council and Unifor Local 2025. In 2014, he ran for the presidency of the Canadian Labour Congress on a program of renewed labour militancy and activism.
During his PhD studies, Husseini was a contract instructor in Political Science at Carleton University and University of Ottawa, where he taught courses on Middles East Politics and Government. Husseini holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science and History from University of Ottawa (1993) and an M.A in Legal Studies (2004) from Carleton University.
