TINAKIWIN Community Launch: Celebration and Conversation

Formerly Anishinabe Moose Studies, Tinakiwin is a newly registered Anishinabe-led non-profit working on research, education & outreach, and sustainable training & employment.
Join us to celebrate the launch of Tinakiwin!
Our Executive Director, Shannon Chief, will discuss Tinakiwin’s origin story, our past work as AMC and Anishinabe research practices. Tinakiwin Board members, previous members of the Anishnabe Moose Committee, will also be present to share their perspectives on how Tinakiwin is growing Anishnabe grassroots initiatives.
We welcome you to celebrate this exciting new chapter with us, chat with our members, and ask questions. If you’re curious about the kind of work we do and want to know how to get involved or stay in touch, this is a great opportunity to come meet us in person and get to know us!
We look forward to meeting community members, allies, funders, and media who are interested in learning more about Anishnabe-led initiatives in Anishnabe Algonquin territory.
