Maximum Sunshine: A Backyard Fundraiser Variety Show
You’re invited to Maximum Sunshine, a DIY fundraiser variety show for and by the community, held annually around the summer solstice. This year’s edition is raising funds to buy essential supplies for Highjinx and the Ottawa chapter of Food Not Bombs. Featuring an all-evening-long lineup of local talent, a BBQ, and a raffle. Bring your picnic blankets, community solidarity, and good vibes!
Tickets are pay-what-you-can, suggested $20-40. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
There are no stairs leading to the backyard, which is half paved, half grass. A stair-free porta potty will be available for use. See RSVP for more details.
The first set (5:30-8:00 PM) is family-friendly, the second set (8:30-10:30) features burlesque and a few bad words.
